What Should I Expect?
Your first appointment includes a review of the incident, your symptoms, health history and functional limitations. Your provider will perform an examination and determine whether treatment is appropriate. Care may include chiropractic treatment, soft-tissue therapy, therapeutic exercise, activity modification and home-care recommendations.
Treatment frequency and recovery time vary depending on the injury, its severity and your response to care. Referrals or additional assessment may be recommended when necessary.
Before Your Appointment
Motor vehicle accident patients: Report the accident to your automobile insurer and bring your claim number, adjuster’s contact information and any available medical documents.
WSIB patients: Report the injury to your employer and WSIB. Bring your WSIB claim number, employer information and any completed forms or medical reports.
Coverage and direct billing are subject to insurer or WSIB eligibility and approval. Our team can help you understand the documentation required for your treatment plan.
