What training do Osteopathic Manual Practitioners have in Ontario?
OMPs in Ontario complete several years of training in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and osteopathic manual techniques at accredited colleges. They are not medical doctors but are extensively trained in manual therapy. Many practitioners also hold prior designations in healthcare such as massage therapy, chiropractic, or physiotherapy.
