I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are, welcoming all your emotions, thoughts, and experiences with compassion and curiosity.
I want to honour the courage it takes for you to reach out for support. As a lifelong client of therapy committed to my own healing journey, I know how transformative therapy is and how powerful a supportive therapeutic relationship is. I have a special interest and passion for supporting youth and young adult women navigating anxiety and ADHD. It was during my first year in practice that I learned of my own ADHD, which has ignited my passion and has encouraged me to shift my focus toward supporting this population. I firmly believe that each individual is worthy of a safe space to strengthen their relationship with themselves and to discover their unique strengths, and I am committed to creating that space with you.
My practice is heavily rooted in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as nervous system-based approaches that integrate the mind and body, including Somatic Parts Work, Polyvagal theory and Brainspotting. Click here to find out more about the approaches that I use. Regardless of therapeutic modality, my approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, client-centered, and holistic. We will take into consideration the balance of all aspects of your life to incorporate your whole Self into sessions.
When I am not in session, you can find me on a hike with my dog Petey, enjoying a cup of coffee, practicing yoga/pilates, lifting weights, and spending quality time with my husband, friends and family.
